I have 3 different ring lights. 7″ 10″ and 12″ are my favorites for lighting and portability. The best part is that it folds into itself so I don't need a tripod or mic pouch (my phone's mic fits in the base) and the light is safer as one side is protected. I would buy it again if I needed it. Defect. Small but it exists. one in 2 days. I found that when using a small battery, 1 out of 3 settings flickered. When I use an outlet, there is no flicker. So if I use a rechargeable battery, I choose a different light color. It's not a problem for me at all. 2. The base opens to store the power cord and I also use it for my microphone. But it is difficult to open and close. It seems to break when I slide it open .It doesn't break and to be honest if it did break it wouldn't affect the use of the light but I wanted to mention it. The pros award 5 stars in this category for price and size. I don't really care about the cons.
