Great for independent photographers and videographers

Was not what I expected at all. To be fair, it's hard not to work when you have three moving parts, one of which is literally a screw, but oh well. I was embarrassed but it really made me want to be a director!

It works, the rubber protection is not reliable enough, but it works.

seems to work well, the rubber seems to be loose. Also, a major downside is that it doesn't come with tripod adapters/screws. So if you want to attach something to them, you have to buy them separately. Definitely just brackets. I've only had them a few weeks and the rubber is already deformed so be careful where you put them as they can scratch the attachment point. Generally he does what he has to do.

Big. nearly perfect!

Excellent quality as advertised but not perfect. Much better than these plastic ones but there is one major design flaw imo. You can unscrew the base of the shoe from the ball head and you might think it could be mounted on a tripod plate. Great, is not it!? Well, yes and no. You can mount it on a tripod base - the thread fits perfectly. BUT the quick grip hits the plate and you can't tighten it. That's why I give 4 stars.

Works well could be better

This is such a nice accessory that I can use to attach various devices to a tripod or anywhere I can use this clip. Via a similar article from another manufacturer who shares the same thoughts as me for this type of product, which I think the manufacturer should really look into: Any device you need to attach to this clip must be attached before you attach it an attached tripod or other mount, otherwise it will be difficult to screw the device to the clamp if you want to attach the device to…

does what i need

I use this to hold a DSLR to take pictures from above and videos. It seems pretty well made, is sturdy and has a clip pad so it doesn't scratch surfaces. There aren't many reviews on it but for what I need it for it seems to do the trick and hold up well. I had to remove the ball joint because my camera felt too heavy for it, but it was fairly easy to take it apart and screw the camera directly into the clamp because all I needed was for it to be completely stationary. and solid. I would like…
