Button breaks instantly (two pairs)

The boots look and feel great according to my grandson, but the button to tighten the boots breaks on the first pull. I thought it was an accident the first time, bad pair so I started with a refund/replacement and after getting a new pair I tried the toggle switch again and the same thing happened. It violates. I don't use force, I just pull with my thumb and forefinger. That's why I'm sending them back. Too bad, I really wanted them to work. Now I also have the inconvenience of driving 22…

Media could not be loaded. I got them for my 9 and 5 year olds. I am very dissatisfied with the quality! When we took the boots out to put on my 5 year old to see if they fit, the part at the end of the cord (lock ball stop) broke when we untied them, they fitted fine but he often complained about that they heavily had stumbled over them. Also, he couldn't put them on by himself, and that bothered him as much as it did me. Within two days, at least one boot in each pair had its cork ripped off.

Ordered 13 for my daughter who wears 12 now. Sent them back as they are too small and the hard rubber socks cut into the tops of her feet when walking. Addendum to my original review: I received new boots from TopShoes and was glad the return/exchange process was as easy as it was.
