I bought them to soften the light from 80w DVM LEDs with Bowen reflectors. These units worked very well in my opinion. They appear to be well made, I expect them to last and are very expensive.

. It was the perfect solution to my office lighting problem. This is a pendant light hanging from the vaulted ceiling. Without a diffuser, the bulbs glare and hurt the eyes. The light goes well with the diffuser and my office becomes much cozier.

I got this to cover a new garage light that is too bright. This is a round LED lamp. It's incredibly bright. I was hoping this would diffuse the light and cancel out some of the brightness. It didn't seem to diffuse the light or reduce any part of the brightness. This might work for you, I guess it depends on the light.

I needed a diffuser for my desk elbow lamp to better illuminate my face on conference calls. It fits freely on the elbow lamp. I had to replace my lightbulb with a freon lightbulb as it is NOT FIRE OR HEAT RESISTANT and will most likely melt or catch fire from the heat of a standard incandescent bulb. The LED lamp should also work with this diffuser.

It was a waste of money. Not only will it never fit an 11" (7-8" max) reflector, it's incredibly cheap (FYI, made in China judging by the packaging). It's basically a $0.99 miniature shower cap from the store. In fact, the $0.99 shower cap could be of higher quality. Note that it's VERY thin nylon and can easily melt or catch fire if the bulb in your application is too hot for that (I wouldn't even use it next to a CFL).
