Description of πŸ“· Holga 120 WPC Black Wide Format Film Lomo Camera: Panoramic Pinhole Camera

Pinhole Exposure: It lets light pass through the pin hole, to hit the film directly, causing exposure without passing through any lens. Panoramic View: The camera enjoys a super wide panoramic view with the horizontal exposure angle reaching as wide as 120 degree. Aperture: F133. Film to Use: Accommodate all 120 format films. The use of exposure speed ASA 100 films on sunny days and ASA 400 on cloudy days or indoor occasions is recommended. Two different Frame Size Masks: one is for 8 frames of 6x9 cm each per roll and another is for 6 frames of 6x12 cm each per roll. Multiple-Exposures Effect: As the film is advanced manually, the camera can help achieve special effects through multiple exposures by NOT advancing the film after a frame has been exposed. Each depression of the Shutter Release Button will bring about another exposure.

good hole for camera and photo

works well, but the rear latch, like all Holga, is weak. the aperture is not that small and sometimes makes exposure difficult. Overall, though, a great pinhole camera that's easy to carry when camping.

Pros
  • high marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • weak

Classic with wide pinhole!

The Holga 120WPC is a classic pinhole camera. I gave it 3 stars for image quality but this is a pinhole camera and you should expect soft images - definitely NOT digitally sharp. Bubble level and cable release options are an improvement over the Diana F+. You get this camera for a variety of imaging opportunities. I hope they start making them again. If not - check out the used car market and expect to pay a lot more!

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Pinhole Picture Perfect

Pinhole photography isn't for everyone, but for those who like shooting without a lens, the Holga is a good camera. I recommend a few extra rubber bands to secure the back, tripod, and cable release to get you started. A quick web search on reciprocity also helps. This isn't my first Holga WPC, but it's my fault. I missed my camera so much that I bought another one. The camera is ripe for modifications and hacks.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Functionality

Great camera - great customer service!

The camera is great - just what I wanted. But I am also very impressed with the seller's customer service. My camera was missing one of the frame sized masks so I wrote to the seller. And a few days later I got a brand new camera with masks in both frame sizes - no exchange, brand new camera! So I appreciate it and want to recommend both a cool little crazy camera and a great seller!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Don't underestimate this plastic fantasy.

Exactly what I expected and the camera's shutter speed recommendations worked well. There is very little light leakage, which adds character to the image. Tripod and shutter cable for zero motion. An ideal tool for developing and understanding shutter speed and aperture controls. Also, help the new student focus on composition. I've added some cyanotype black and white contact sheets from the film. Timing is everything to get the best shot. I recommend underexposure if you want to try it…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Zero

Good camera, confusing directions

So far so good, I developed my first roll and ended up with some accidental overlapping double exposures. Some things to consider to avoid my mistake. The window on the back of the camera is labeled 16 or 12. If you need 6x9 negatives, point to 16. If you need 6x12 negatives, point to 12. Be sure to insert the correct insert. Something not specifically stated in the instructions is; If you rewind the movie to the next number in the window, only half the frame is moved. You need to wind up two…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Hard to say
