Automatically move marbles to create an infinite loop with this battery powered chain lift (2 AA batteries required and NOT included). Combine more than 1 lift in a set to create large fully automated marble runs. 10-15 minute assembly required using picture/written instructions below and/or the instructional video in Related Video Shorts (no written instructions included in the package). Standard toy size marbles (5/8 inch or smaller) work with this set (no marbles are included with this set). Worth buying but needs adjustment to work properly

Intuitively you would connect them all together to form the required drive chain loop. However, I've found that there's a reason the instructions state the exact number of links to use in the chain, as extra links are included. You need to remove some links. (I learned this the hard way). Also, the sprocket is loosely attached to the motor drive spindle, so the chain loop tends to move. But for "pickup" an exact release is required. Well done, very ingenious improvement!

First let me mention that some reviewers may have put it together wrong which was disappointing. The chain hoist should fit snugly against the gears with no play. I have exactly two sets of 11 of these tubes from the bottom entry station (green) to the top of the exit station (white), PLUS an inlet and an outlet, so there should be 12 total on each side. What I did: Started with a chain wrapped around both cogs but still open. Now I connect the two end chains together until they wrap tightly…

OK, but not perfect. Buy 3.

This is how I gradually built up a large collection of Marble Genius parts (and other compatible sets). When I saw this for only $10 I bought 3. The attached video only shows ONE of the products used so you know how much a typical purchase costs and I just put together a very basic tower. relatively quiet.+ Runs 95% of the time.+ Lets balls rotate continuously+ Chain length adjustable!
