This is a well built little adaptor. In a world of cheap junk camera attachments, this one is beautiful, metallic and feels solid. I use this to attach the mic to my camera from the bottom instead of the top.

Very elegant extension adapter holder made of aluminium. It's relatively light (certainly lighter than putting a whole cage around the camera!) and has a compact design. Very happy with the additional utility that appeared on my Sony a6600.

Exactly what I was looking for! I bought a YouTube camcorder without an external audio mount. I found and bought this to fix my camera and microphone on the same surface. While I wish the mount was a bit longer (my mic is visible from the camera when directly on, but I only twisted the mic out a bit to fix that), it's just what I need , and it's sturdy

The quality and functionality are AMAZING. This thing is solid like rock metal. Good metal screw. This solves the Sony A6400's problem of putting the microphone in the hot shoe blocking the flip screen. It's fairly compact compared to other camera setups, but that makes it oddly shaped to slip into a camera bag or hang around your neck.
