there wasn't even a seal.

When I opened the bottle I found it didn't even have a seal, let alone an 'airtight safety cap', who knows what you're actually getting. Save money and use lemon juice instead.

Pros
  • Winemaking additive that gets the yeast to ferment properly
Cons
  • High price

The glass was open.

The jar has been opened and the protective cap pushed back halfway. What should I do with this product now? I notified North Mountain and they replaced the product. It's gotten a lot fuller. I appreciate North Mountain's response. I would buy from them again.

Pros
  • One teaspoon per gallon increases acidity by 0.1%
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Could be a good product

Potentially very useful for increasing acidity in cider. I didn't see fit to scoop up the spilled contents from the pouch so I'll have to try another brand that makes it sound. Revain refunded my money which is great but they also rejected my original review on the packaging of this product for violating their review policy.

Pros
  • Packaged in a plastic container with a tamper evident lid to ensure quality and freshness!
Cons
  • Not the best
