Same as snap on. For 1/3 the price

I really like this hammer. Snap-On sells the exact same blue hammer for $88 under the Bluepoint brand. Saw it for the price and couldn't resist.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Nupla is one of the best names for hammers

Nupla is one of the best names for hammers Made in USA. Used to ship some Craftsman hammers to the US. The handle is comfortable. The fiberglass part is solid. Wouldn't worry about it breaking. Lifetime Guarantee. Can't be wrong

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Nice hammer with warning

Excellent hammer. I swing, it's pounds. What more do you want. Warning. If you are working in an area where there are metal splinters, there is a chance they could get into the rubber grip and then your hand. Definitely no fun. Just a warning. Ask me how I know.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Quality

Great hammer for everyday use

This is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a brass hammer for the job and unsuccessfully went to hardware stores and hardware stores in Northwest Alabama and Northeast Mississippi to find one. I found this hammer at a great price and use it every day. If you want a hammer that won't ruin what you hit, buy this one.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Some bugs

Minor impact with no damage

This 1.5lb (24oz) was used to knock the CV axle out of the hub and separate the two ball joints and tie rod end. Made the job easier without damaging anything. Now remember that brass is much softer than cast iron, so expect head banging when hitting harder surfaces. Other than that, the head damage is minimal and I expect it to last for years.

Pros
  • Sledgehammer
Cons
  • Long Stock

Good 1.5 lb brass hammer

This is a good 1.5 lb brass hammer. It looks good. The grip looks solid and sits well on the head. I used it to separate suspension pivots. A brass hammer is ideal when a steel hammer can damage a steel part and a rubber mallet isn't hard enough. Ignore comments about its "apparent size". The head of this hammer is a 1.5 pound piece of solid brass. Hammers are not measured by volume.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • old

This hammer contains LEAD and they won't tell you until you get it!

Nowhere in the description of this hammer is there any mention of lead or birth defects. I bought this to stamp jewellery, but unfortunately having moved to a new apartment and not being able to use it straight away I have never noticed the warning notice so returning it is now out of the question. Not worth my health - will not be used. Don't buy this!

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Small Parts
