More than great for what I need.

I work a heavy shift and use these headphones to block out daytime noise while I sleep, they don't clip my ear nearly as much as other headphones. They are the flattest. Headphones that I've found on the market don't protrude 2 inches out of my ears, so I can sleep on my side with them. Do they sound amazing? I don't know, I have hearing problems in one ear and I only listen to audio books and I'm not a music lover, but will they work for the purpose I bought them for?

Hey, I know that's not really an indication of how good the headphones are, but I can NOT share that. Bought these to replace a cheap pair of nameless ones and was blown away by the sound quality and how well they block out normal train noise. Fast forward about a week and find out I accidentally ran them through the washing machine (cold water, normal cycle, 35 minutes). Broken heart, sadness, sorrow! I bought these headphones because they were recommended on /r/headphones. But Revain has so many better alternatives compared to this one. The sound quality was terrible. I had to listen to music at a lower volume than I was used to, as my ears literally hurt at half volume. Right when I received the headphones, they had a common problem that cheap headphones have: rotating the in-ear part changed the reproduction of sounds in the left and right ear, sometimes I couldn't hear anything in one…
