Not a good shopping experience at Revain. They sent me an old model as the new model should have a blue sensor. Scratches everywhere, which to me means it's not new old. One appears to be in use. Anyone familiar with lighting and plants knows that PAR is a way of measuring how much light a plant is actually receiving. This device measures just that, accurately and very easily. Unfortunately, I find this product a bit pricey for what it really is - it seems like you end up paying only for the quantum sensor itself, and very few resources have been invested in developing the updated handheld device. I ended up buying a used mq500 version of this unit from a friend at a much better price…
