🎧 Sony WM-FX244 Walkman Digital Tuning Stereo Cassette Player with AM/FM Radio Review

I have used this recorder with a computer to play back books from tape. It works great and doesn't use batteries like many other products. It took me a while to find this player but I'm satisfied. I can take it in my car and use it with the same connector I use for my MP3 player. I will recommend it to friends and anyone interested.

I am a true Sony loyalist and have never had a problem with anything I have bought from them in the past. So far. The cassette stopped working and that was one of the main reasons I bought it. The digital rotary converter is also a bit out of order, but the reception is excellent. Overall I am more than disappointed and now have to look for a more durable cartridge.

I'm an avid radio listener and really need a cassette player so this seemed like a great addition. I like digital tuning - BUT - this unit has a problem. The buttons on the surface to turn on the AM and FM radio are easy to press, and if you carry this in your backpack, you'd better turn on the "lock" button, otherwise you will definitely drain your battery.
