Spigen Tempered Protector AlignMaster Designed Cell Phones & Accessories for Accessories Review

I really wanted to like this. I really did. Especially since it comes at such a great price from Sprigen, which I thought was pretty reliable. The point, however, is that there is no punch hole for the front camera, which makes any shots from this camera pretty blurry. I've also noticed that this makes it difficult for the camera to focus unless you're using Portrait mode. Too bad. I'll probably spend a little more to get something in the right place with one punch.

The screen protector works great for the money but definitely suffers from fit issues despite the alignment tool. For some reason there is a noticeable air gap between the screen and the protective film, which is the same for the entire phone. If you look closely at my photos you will see what I mean - they almost seem to skimp on glue around the edges. Apart from this detail, everything works perfectly. I have no problem putting the protective film on. It includes everything you need to prep your phone, plus an alignment tray when you're ready to apply the screen protector. Air pockets/bubbles must be removed after switching on. When everything is done, everything looks perfect. Coverage is good and extends slightly beyond the edges of the display. It covers the front selfie camera, but that shouldn't be a problem. The Pixel 4a 5G uses Gorilla Glass 3. That's 2 generations older than most 2020

It was very easy to install. The kit did not include a cover for the main camera, only the phone's touch surface. Along the entire edge of the cover (4a5g pixels) there is a very small margin, maybe a millimeter, that the cover doesn't reach. It's not noticeable, but I imagine someone with long nails or maybe dealing with the screen being able to get scratched (like in a key pocket?). This could cause dust to get into the edge of the lid and easy to remove. There is no selfie camera distortion.

This is a fairly reliable screen protector. Very easy to install, you get 2 for a great price and they are crystal clear. Only 2 reasons why this isn't 5 stars.1. That thing is SLIPPER.
