Good radio, nice to look at and sounds good!

Studebakers were good cars and now they're radios. For around $30, this little radio packs a punch with nice sound, smooth, drift-free analog controls, and clear FM. Also, this radio is nice to look at, small touches give it the look of a car radio like the chrome eyebrow frames around the dial and volume knob etc. The font used is a nice touch too. The color corresponds to the time. My neighbor was there recently and admired it with joy. I know she didn't have a radio and was complaining about

Beauty with GREAT sound!

I was looking for a small vintage "transistor radio" to replace my 30 year old small bathroom radio. Revain had a few options and I finally settled on this one. When I received it and opened the box I was surprised and a little disappointed because it was MUCH bigger than I wanted. I should have looked at the details before ordering as the measurements are clearly stated there. Easy to set up, adding a headphone jack and a separate power button. *

(*) These are improvements for SB2003, 3 improvements over the Studebaker SB2001 radio. The performance of the internal DSP circuitry is no different than the circuitry in the Studebaker SB2001. So if ease of setup isn't a huge issue for a human, buying a Studebaker SB2001 works the same as the SB2003 but with fewer tuning manipulations, and with knobs the SB2003 is easier to work with as they aren't as "thick" are like the buttons on the SB2001.
