Fully Compliant.: Art & Craft Supplies

What Can I Say About an Eraser? These things are forgotten. My son is an aspiring artist. I noticed that he was trying to embellish a detail on the superhero sketch and of course he was erasing more than he wanted to. Bought, showed him how they work, never had that problem again.

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Good product but a bit thin

This product is sufficient for this purpose. I had one that belonged to my uncle who was a draftsman for NASA. It was a thicker caliber and I just can't find it. This one is tuned exactly the same, probably the same stainless steel material but just a hair thinner than mine. Thickness doesn't matter when using the product, but I'm afraid I might accidentally bend it. I have to be careful with him. But other than that it serves its intended purpose and I would buy it again if I needed it.

Really good for getting those little details.

I often use erasers when I draw. The one I had before was good, but I couldn't get very detailed information from it. This allowed me to create more detailed sketches without deleting anything I wanted to keep. Right angles let me make sharp points, rounded triangular spaces are great, and it even includes additional shapes for finer detail. I will say that it bends easily so you have to be careful not to bend it, but in general it's pretty standard for protecting an eraser. Really solid andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Big variety
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Does the job just as well as the famous brands

Not sure why he asked me to rate "Transparency". It's a piece of metal. Completely obscure LOL! I bought this for my adult painting projects. Sometimes I accidentally paint outside the line, and the erasers help me not to erase more than I want. Note: Most colored pencils don't rub off completely like graphite, but will lift up enough if the mark isn't too deep. Remember that erasers are fragile so you must be careful not to bend them as they cannot be bent back perfectly flat.

Too reflective

I first used one of these when I was working in the engineering department, although to be honest it was for art. I threw them away thinking I didn't need them anymore and then decided to paint again and demanded that I buy them. They're thinner than the ones I've had before and the cutouts look a bit different, but my main issue is the reflection off the metal. This makes it difficult to see what you are trying to erase due to the reflection. I solved it by painting it with w. flat primer, but

If you paint you need one of these

I saw one of these on video somewhere and had to check it out. I'm glad I did! It was just what I needed to fix those tiny mistakes made in coloring when you don't want to erase more than a tiny smudge. Just position it where you want it and hold it in place. Not as strong as metal. Doesn't bend when erased, but the piece as a whole has some bending so it can break (only the reason it doesn't have 5 stars). Since you get three in a pack and the price is right and I think you really have to doโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • flimsy

A must have for artists or technical drafters

I make technical diagrams by hand because I don't always have access to the same computer and I don't always have internet access. Trying to gently erase parts of a drawing is difficult, no matter how small the eraser is. This eraser can sometimes be a gift from God. It's thin enough to allow easy access to the paper, but since it's made of steel, it can't break. There are several holes of various sizes and shapes, although smaller straight lines or alternative shapes such as ovals areโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
