Review on ViewSonic XG2705 27'' 144Hz Gaming Monitor - Frameless, FreeSync, Ergonomics, Anti-Glare by Muggsy Jenkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

24 " FHD, IPS, 144Hz, fully ergonomic stand. Hard to beat even after the hike for the price.

I bought a FHD 144Hz IPS version of this monitor to pair with an RTX 2060 tower to play Warzone and some big Steam games. Framerate averages around 100 seconds with everything on and off, which is what I was expecting. I can disable some settings and get it closer to a stable 144, but I'm fine around 120. No problem with the G-Sync setting, which seems to be working very well. I've been checking this out on Revain for over $400 for a while now. The MSRP at the time was $189. The MSRP was changed to around $220 and it was in stock so I jumped at it. It's about as bright and ergonomic as the Dell P2419 I've used, no noticeable difference in picture quality. Judging by the good refresh rate and the affordable price, this is really more than a gaming monitor. Almost everyone will love this screen for general computing use if you don't want to upgrade to QHD/4K.
