Surprised - works great on my Nintendo Switch

I was very concerned about the value for money of this product but I was very satisfied. I have a Sammy 128GB SD card and I can say without a doubt that this Giga 256GB card is great and works just like the big brands! Worth a try! :) Works GREAT with my Nintendo Switch.

  • Easy to use

Garbage. Didn't even last a week in my dashcam

I drive Uber on the side and bought a new dash cam so I needed a high capacity card for it. I purchased this card in less than a week before I kept getting the "This card needs to be formatted" message on the camera. I've formatted, uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times to no avail, still getting error messages. I've learned my lesson by sticking with big brands in the future. That's what I get when I try to save money.

Insufficient speed for Insta 360 One X

This card tests around 50MB/s write, 90+ MB/s read with the Blackmagic Disk Speed test, but when running in Insta 360 One X is used, it fails about 14 times. -20 minutes of "too slow speed" recording. This camera records two files simultaneously at around 6MB/s each, but recording something else at the same time prevents the Gigastone from delivering the results it promised. After trying to contact customer service: no support available. They contacted me, asked what resolution I was recordingโ€ฆ

Works with Nikon D7500

Got this as a card for my Nikon D7500 camera. I decided to try and save a few bucks on Sandisk mainly because so many Sandisks you buy on Amazon are fake. So maybe the Chinese wouldn't fake an unnamed brand. In general, the card worked well. Put it in card checking software and it will indeed have the memory it has. The read/write speeds appear to be normal, although I'm no expert at this. It matters if it worked for the intended purpose (photos and videos on Nikon), the answer was yes. A video

$35 for 256 WOW! on memory cards

Since you are probably skeptical, I heard about all the fakes myself, it seemed too good to be true! $35 is what the most decent 128s cost! But it was a rather expensive 256 according to the packaging! Well, the packaging was right! In a cheap USB 3.0 card reader, I first ran speed tests and got 37 reads and 33 writes, making it a U3 class card, and then I had to insert and remove some files. I started BIG, this was an upgrade of my 128 Samsung evo U1 in my Switch. It currently had 115โ€ฆ
