Super useful separate keyboard.

This keyboard is comfortable to type on, materials are a little thin, but compared to the typing height of the Mac Air M1, it's more comfortable than the laptop itself when sitting at a desk. This keyboard will NOT work when connected to anything other than a laptop, so unfortunately using a multicolored key is out of the question. The keyboard also lacks some of the features that the Mac keyboard has, such as B. changing the language for the keyboard button, but that's a small problem…

Not suitable for Mac - Keyboards

Special function keys do not work on Mac: Brightness up/down, flight controls, launchpad (F1-F4). I called Macally tech support and had to leave a message. They took my call but didn't help get the function keys to work like on a Mac keyboard. It's just not made for Mac. When I type, I see the entire keyboard flex a little. The keys have good travel, but overall the keyboard feels too light. The color is silver but it is a painted plastic. I will be returning this keyboard and getting my Matias

Feels a little cheaper than Apple's original, but it works.

Bluetooth on my 2020 Mac Mini made me sad. My wireless Apple Magic Mouse kept freezing, then the wireless keyboard too, so I reverted to wired for both mouse and keyboard. Connected directly to USB-C ports, worked 100% flawlessly. Now (despite a few more cables on my desk) everything is fine. The price was right too, $50 for both including shipping within two days. Affordable wired USB-C keyboard. Suitable for little-used purposes, definitely not as a main keyboard.

I recently bought a very small Android phone because I didn't want to take a rock with me wherever I went. While the on-screen keyboard proved surprisingly functional, an external keyboard seemed preferable at home. McAllee is enough. FYI, "mini" refers to the keyboard, not USB C (at the moment there is only one USB C port as opposed to USB A/B). The keyboard works fine. However, very cheaply made. A button looks like it's about to pop out. While this is just aesthetics, and the key works well.

Defective after one use

I bought this keyboard to use with two 15 inch MacBook Pros both running Catalina. First I plugged it in and it worked fine. After turning it off after about 3 hours and turning it on on my second MacBook, the power light didn't come on. I tried to fix the problem by connecting the device to all USB-C ports of this device and the previous device. The power indicator did not light up.
