looks good on device and color is accurate and .

Serves the purpose, looks good on device and the color is accurate and beautiful, it's cheaper. but I didn't buy it for padding or actual protection, just for a cute color change as the Nintendo faceplates aren't made for the new 3DS XL. fits well and looks good! However, do check the item when it arrives in the mail as I received mine with a slightly damaged corner. It's not very noticeable, but I think it was the result of transportation. but overall a nice aluminum "skin".

Fits tight. Pink? Well!

First I bought a transparent cover but it didn't fit. Due to the placement of the holes/buttons/etc. The cases for the 3DS XL need to fit snugly around the sides and edges without bunching - some "open areas" so it's not snug on all four sides. This case is great. . Finish - Metallic - will not leave fingerprints or smudges. And the pink color is beautiful! One star deducted because the lid has a built in plastic tab that should toggle the power button on and off. It's difficult or impossible…

This is the first case I've received for a portable gaming system.
