Tripp Lite Standard Computer Extension Cord

I have a CPAP machine that uses one of these cords. I don't understand why the original cable broke but it did. Before trying to find an alternative solution, I bought this extension and it worked. No problem.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Damaged

They won't fit your computer's power supply

I was looking for something that would extend my computer 12 inches to make it easier to get to the plug rather than going around from the back. Almost every day I had to insert/move the connector on the back to make the right contact to turn on the PC. That's hardly true. I would recommend a different cable if you use it for PC.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • I'll add later

These cables were routed into the data center to connect the APC PDU to the various servers and switches in the closet. So that the engineers on site could distinguish between the plug and the power supply, I bought a black and white set. They're not very tight, as expected, but then again there aren't any retaining clips, so the occasional twitch in the rack can cause them to fall out, which can be problematic.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

They do not match your computer's power supply

I was looking for something to extend my computer 1 foot so that I can access the fork easier than walking behind. Almost every day I had to insert/move the connector on the back to make the right contact to turn on the PC. That's hardly true. I would recommend a different cable if you use it for PC.

Pros
  • Color coded cable to connect devices such as computers, printers, scanners, power supplies and monitors with C13/C14 power connectors
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Perfect for the extra length I need

I was glad they actually made something like this. My cable was too short for my tower configuration on my desk and I started looking for it. I finally found them and they do their job. I was wondering if it would get warm with the computer on, but even with my setup pulling over 550W, the cable doesn't show the slightest hint of heat.

Pros
  • 100-250V/10A; UL listed
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

These cables went to the data center to connect the APC splitter to the various servers and switches in the closet. So that the engineers on site could distinguish between the plug and the power supply, I bought a black and white set. They're not very snug, as I expected, but again there aren't any locking clips so the occasional twitch in the rack can cause them to fall out, which can be problematic.

Pros
  • Lifetime Limited Warranty
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
