My kid hated it when we first bought it but now...

My kid hated it when we first bought it but now loves it. This helps build crawling strength and is sometimes just a comfortable spot for him to lean on and play. I don't like that the crab toy isn't removable and we cut it off. Otherwise I'm a great product. Love, Baby Einstein!

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • old

Helpful tummy time

Keeps my little ones occupied while they spend time on their tummy. Helps strengthen the neck, but they hardly notice it (read: less whining and crying). My only complaint is the same as most children's toys - only really applicable for a short time. But that's only because kids grow up so fast. Is there a baby Einstein toy keeping him from growing up?

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Weakness Set

Life saver for prone position

This was perfect for my 4 month old who was very frustrated with lying on his tummy. Supporting him just enough to really focus on using his arms and pushing with his feet was great. The beaded shell toy and rubber sand dollar are great for him to reach out and grab with this pillow. The small crumpled parts are also a hit. For a "cushion" it offers a lot of versatility.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • The list will be long.

I was expecting it to help her spend time on her stomach, but the middle of this pillow doesn't have enough elasticity, so she ends up with a very high arch in her back, the lift her off the ground high enough that her elbows don't touch the ground. Not suitable for early tummy time - I would say better for heavy babies or older children. not younger than 6 months

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • A few little things

Large size for lying on your stomach and very attractive

This size is great for lying on your stomach, it offers soft yet firm support. The toys on it are removable and washable. The kid I bought this for loves the picture cards for some reason. My only criticism of this toy is that the velcro straps don't hold the toy very firmly. I suppose this makes removing the baby easier, but not if you want to keep it together as an activity center while lying on your tummy. I find it colorful and exciting and I like it very much. There are so many hard toys…

Pros
  • Even the elderly can understand
Cons
  • Expensive

it was cheaper on amazon than retail

this is the first one we bought, our granddaughter had the first one and they brought it home and when she grew up we have it for the next one dressed. We bought a teacup Yorkie, this pillow was a lot bigger than him but he fell in love with it, it's his favorite toy and believe me he has a lot of toys, he's big enough to have the playing with him all day fetching and pulling and every night with my husband the crab rattle broke but he still played hard and hard with it. I thought I would just…

Pros
  • great for me
Cons
  • no instructions

I was expecting this to help her spend time on her stomach but the center of this pillow doesn't have enough elasticity so she has a very high back arch which lifts her up in the front like that high off the ground, elbows off the ground. Not suitable for early tummy time - I would say better for heavy babies or older children. not younger than 6 months

Pros
  • Discover fabric tabs for hide and seek
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Nonsensical plush pillow toy

I would really give this 2 stars but I'm trying to be honest. Good size pillows/toys. Well-textured sheets that are great for touch inputs. THIS THING IS SO DELICATE IT HAS NO SWITCH AND NEVER CLOSE. literally if you hit it or anything even close to it it will go off for 30 seconds. It accidentally started in the middle of the night. Very creepy. I guess genius babies play with this. This is the kind of toy that grandparents send home with their kids and then laugh at when the poor souls come…

Pros
  • Turns your living room floor into an underwater adventure
Cons
  • Sad gadget
