High quality masks

We have foxtails in our pastures so I appreciate the cobweb finish. (Foxtails are stuffed into the runes.). Velcro is very strong and they have double closures. My horses seem to be very comfortable with it. Kensington masks last longer than some others I've tried.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Vanish

Good Fly Mask

This is a well made fly mask. Too bad I have a horse that can take it off in 5 minutes. I found him on the ground, in the manger, in his water, in his neighbors water and in the stable at the other end of the barn. But after all that, he's still in good shape, so that's saying something.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Worthy Mask in Pest Control

Nice mask. I think Kensington has good quality control and dimensional consistency. My Welsh x is pony size. Both the Andalusian and draft cross are large. For my Dutch Warmblood, which is actually larger than a quarter horse, the medium ones are powerful and the large ones are tall. I go through this every year but my horses wear masks in the summer so no complaints.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Useless functions

Great fly mask, worth your money!

I have bought a standard Farnham for many years and have found the edges to be so irritating to my horses that they constantly rub their faces. I've tried a few other masks and had other issues. I ended up buying a Kensington and found that the stitching is well finished and covered, the mesh is the right weight to hold its shape and most importantly, it doesn't get in the way of my horse wearing it.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Negative impression

Kensington Fly Mask

I have several horses and flies are a real nuisance in the summer months. The use of Kensington fly masks is mandatory. They are lightweight, durable and easy to clean. Horses unmasking each other, masks snagging on mesquite trees or barbed wire, etc. are a problem when trying to find them when lost in the fields. A colorful mask helps. Kensington's vibrant colors are great.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin
