Works right out of the box

Works right out of the box , plenty of outlets for my 2 monitors, speakers and external hard drive. No lag as far as I can tell unlike my old one which seems to have lived her life. Lightweight and small so it can be easily hidden under the table with 5,000ft cords that fit all tech devices.

Pros
  • DVI-to-VGA and DVI-to-HDMI adapters included for better monitor compatibility Power supply for power dock and all ports (does not power laptop)
Cons
  • Very expensive

Economical, simple solution for any home office

This is a godsend. I have a laptop that doesn't have a docking station and it's very easy to use. I have 2 monitors and 2 USB chargers for my phone and bluetooth headset as well as a wireless mouse and keyboard and an extra USB port. Installation was easy with all the necessary adapters.

Pros
  • Dual 1080p HD video to external monitor via HDMI, VGA or DVI
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Ease of use Fits laptop accessories

Our company is moving and we would like to have a USB docking station throughout the office for convenient connections. We tested this device and found that it did a great job of supporting dual monitors, just as we had hoped.

Pros
  • 4 rear USB 2.0 ports for peripheral accessories such as keyboard and mouse
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Overpriced and cheap quality

Why are things so expensive these days but always made of lousy materials? Also, in my experience, this doesn't work for Apple products. Might be good if you're looking for a cheap PC. It will be rubbish if you are not willing to pay big bucks. Here's an idea: Don't suddenly make important use cases an additional feature. If these things depress you, think of something else. I give up.

Pros
  • 2 front USB 3.0 ports supporting high speed data transfer up to 5 Gbps
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Kensington Dock

I bought the product in November 2020, after 5 months of use the product does not work properly. The extended view doesn't work on my monitor and when I unplug my USB keyboard the power goes out.

Pros
  • 2 SuperSpeed USB 3 0 ports (backwards compatible with USB 2 0) that support high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbps and phone charging 4 USB 2 0 ports for peripherals such as keyboard and mouse, printers and other accessories Gigabit (10/100/1000) Ethernet ports for external headphones and microphone with audio 2 0 for better sound quality
Cons
  • Negative present

Simple dual display hub

This hub was our hub for Microsoft Surface Pro 6 to support dual monitors. It's easy to use and appears to be well made. Very easy to use.

Pros
  • Included power adapter to power the docking station and all connections (laptop is not powered) Vesa mountable (see Kensington mount, stock no. K34050WW) Slot for Kensington lock (see stock no. #K65035AM, compatible lock) for Macbook, download latest Display Link drivers from Display Link website
Cons
  • Broken

Couldn't get it to work.

Excellent technical support. The problem appeared to require a third-party driver. Using Windows 10 64-bit Pro, rolled back

Pros
  • Screen customization software makes it easy to change your settings
Cons
