Remington PG165: Silver Battery Operated Precision Grooming System Review

I really liked these clippers around my little one's ears after using a real clipper to trim his hair. But they stopped working after two uses, right after the return period was closed of course. I will try to complain directly to the company.

ORIGINAL REVIEW JUNE 2013: I purchased this bikini trimmer and it works well for this purpose. However, the shaver is powered by a single AA battery and doesn't appear to be fully charged. This trimmer is good as long as it lasts. I knew this when I bought it so I was ok with that, but if you're looking for a long-term product, this clipper will only last about three or four months, and you should know that. The protective case, which must be removed for cleaning, is very fragile and my last one ended up breaking. I bought this as a replacement, it broke the first time I took it off. My mom isn't ready to go back to her salon so I cut her short hair at home. This razor is designed for men's beards so I figured it would be gentle enough to clean her neck. Works quite well for this purpose. Easy to apply and does not irritate the skin.

I had an earlier version of this Remington trimmer and it has served me well for many years. But nothing lasts forever. So when I wanted to buy a new trimmer, I naturally turned my attention to Remington. This trimmer is well made and feels good in the hand. I've used it about 6 times and it works great!

Failed! Not only did it not work. There are a few other Revain reviews you can check out and the seller who is selling these items! I rarely write a review on an item like this. But to order a gift, open it up, put in one battery after another - and conclude it's no good - go back and read the reviews. It's disheartening to know I'm not the only one who had an issue with this particular item.
