Locust is a helpful tool for load testing

Locust is a very helpful tool for load testing. I have been using it to test my web applications for years. It is free and open source. I like that it can be used to test both my applications and my infrastructure. I would like to be able to do a more extensive load testing on my infrastructure.   • This software does exactly what we need! We just wish there was better support documentation or an FAQ section online so people could learn how best apply these tools properly without having questions unanswered by their peers who may not know much about them either

Highly recommended Python tool used by us at work

It is free to use, has many features including GUI, it's easy for new users to learn how to use it without any training required, you can easily customize your tests with its powerful scripting language which makes running loads of different types of test cases very fast. There are some bugs in the UI that need fixing but other than this I have no complaints about using locust as an automated web stress tester.
