great idea horrible software

so I was excited to get this unit. He promised many wonderful things, but failed to deliver most of them. The speed and altitude were fairly accurate compared to other GPS units, but that's about it. Here are the problems: 1) The compass isn't really a compass. You have to move for it to show the direction you're moving, but its accuracy is very limited. It can only point north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southeast, west, northwest, and will be delayed in updating. 2) Tack angle alarm works all the time and only overrides tacks. My car can lean 10 degrees but this tells me it's leaning 40 degrees which causes the alarm to go off all the time. Another device I have says my truck is tilted about 15 degrees and the X90 says 30+.3) If you set the clock to show the correct time, after turning on and off it will turn off Power off reset. The clock returns to standard GPS time even just a few minutes after setting it. So the time is always wrong. 4) There is a red LED on the 12V connector, which is very bright, especially at night. In general, it did not help me, and I am sending it back. The price of 70-80 dollars is definitely not worth it. I have sent an email to the manufacturer but have not received a reply. (Update) - The manufacturer replied to me but found no solution. Blamed the alarm for my driving habits. I suggested not raising the alarm.
