Not for warm climates.
When I first put it in the car it was warm outside. The next day he was not buckled. My guess is that the temperature in the car has changed the clip and now it won't close. I also really like this swivel thing, but it makes it difficult to remove something with one hand. You need a hand to hold it in place. I try to keep at least one hand on the wheel so it's not too heavy.
