Transfers heat to the other side of the bed when used with a heating pad.
Was a gift for my sister and she loves it. She lives in the Rocky Mountains, where it is very cold for more than half a year. Born and raised in California, she has to sleep with a heating pad at night. Her husband's complaint about this comforter isn't related to the comforter itself, but that the glass beads being heated by the lining on her side of the CalKing bed are transferring heat to his side of the bed, which is too much for him . He's also a boy from California, but he moved to the Rocky Mountains because he can't stand the summer heat.
