The light on the mirror is great. Brighter yet softer than other mirrors w/ lights I've tried on the market. The light does light up a bigger area and is not as cold as other lights. The only gripe I have with the mirror is that it's not convex enough to get a wider view of the area. I have two car seats side by side where my non-lit mirror is convex enough that I can see both car seats. The only problem with my last mirror is that there's no light. i only wish the mirror is more convex so that I get get a wider coverage.
