I've been basically in limbo since they discontinued the SheLaq serum and I was freaking out knowing I was blunting at 2-3pm will have spots under my eyes. I got sick of it and tried different things: Makeup Forever Aqua Seal (seems to be working), elf Make up Lock & Coated (not working), NYX Top Coat (waste of money), Tonymoly Double Needs Super Fix Mascara (works! but the work ends very quickly). I couldn't bring myself to pay almost $30 for Bare Minerals Locked & Coated which everyone recommended so I bought it and it works! Works, works, works! My daily stress level has halved because I don't have to look in the damn mirror and curse the universe that has stained my eyes. I've been using the first tube I have now for about three months and it's still working. Big. It's also the easiest to use out of all the ones I've tried. You can't clean the brush after every use so over time the gel turns black from all the mascara bits, but it seems to make application even easier as the gel turns black leaving the mascara more intact than when you started . I will probably be switching to a second tube in a few days so you can change it as often as you would mascara (every 2-3 months). I don't take it off completely until the next morning when I wash my face after waking up. For me, it's worth taking the stress out of everyday life and turning into a hot mess by 2 p.m.
