Needed a hat to protect my skin when I go fishing for Lingcod with my uncle soon. Really needed it to cover my scalp (ie not have ventilation holes), since I have my hair buzzed. Will see how that goes. However, lightweight shouldn't melt in it. Will keep my neck/face/top of my head from burning. Wore it to the general store for a test run. Took a second to manage cords with the mask. Grateful for the chin strap to keep the wind from taking my new hat. "Pretty cunning, don't you think?"
