Be careful what you buy. This is NOT a gimbal or any other device that will make your video smoother than holding it with your hand. The stability of your hands determines the stability of your video. Your hands are shaking, you get a shaky video. The video clip of the rig being balanced on a finger says nothing. Try recording a video with a finger on the rig and it will be awful. This device is most useful for mounting accessories such as a short shotgun microphone or an external recorder on a tripod. Without a cheeseboard, this device is useless as you can't expect clear shots without mounting the camera on a tripod. How many times are you really going to photograph a guy on a skateboard or a running dog from a low angle? Buy a good quick release plate to quickly detach it from your tripod if you want to do some handheld shooting. I don't want it to sound like I'm slamming a product. Just know what you are buying and what you can realistically expect from it.
