I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first but this thing works wonders. My cat loves to scratch the carpet; In fact, almost in protest, he scratches on the carpet around the scratching post. But I sprayed the carpet for the first time and it stopped scratching! The smell takes some getting used to if you're not a rosemary fan (I like the smell so it doesn't bother me) as it can be a bit overpowering. But the cats didn't mind the smell and didn't scratch the carpet anymore! You just have to remember to keep using it.
