I didn't want to return this model because it looks amazing, but I had two issues with the monitor. Black smearing while driving is a deal breaker. For example, in the game No Man Sky, when you looked back at your ship in space or at the ground while walking, the stars left a black trail. In a fast-paced game like Battlefield V, mountains left a black trail against a blue sky on some maps. This is very distracting and violates the terms of the contract. Another issue is that when enabling Gsync, it sometimes got disconnected for a few seconds. This happens randomly and without warning. This will be the last VA panel I venture on. The technology just isn't suited to gaming. Too bad because everything else is fantastic. Despite being the only HDR400, it's bright enough and the contrast ratio is as good as my big screen Samsung TV. Vivid colors and curves make you feel completely immersed in the action.
