Better than a plastic strap
I think backpacks should come with these types of connectors from the start, rather than a plastic strap and screw that wear out and break over time. I am using this new connector to hold a Topeak phone case on my mt. Bike frame as I ride alone a lot and use various GPS tracking software on my iPhone. I also trust this jack/bag with my car keys. About 2 seasons old and this connector is still strong and reliable.
