I usually buy collars from Seresto. I couldn't afford it this year for my three dogs and two cats. This is the toughest year I can remember. I removed three or four ticks from each cat every day. When I started finding fat people on the floor, I just got scared. I bought a local brand of Revain ointment. After 10 days, this seems to work well in dogs. But the cats continued to carry ticks. That's why I bought these cat collars. They started working in about 3 days. I haven't found a tick since then. Very pleasantly surprised. It kills me that Seresto collars are so expensive. I don't doubt for a moment that they could be more accessible. And Hartz has been in business for years, so they must be doing something right! I will definitely buy again.
