Pros: The tile detector was nicely packaged in a molded plastic box to keep everything in place. The base holds the remote very well. It's easy to choose the tile you want. The tiles are marked with nice big numbers, each with a different colour. Cons: The tile is too big to stick or tape to something like a remote control. The included pre-cut double-sided mounting tape is too small and has poor adhesion to attach the tile to a hard surface such as a remote control. All CR2032 batteries were dead on arrival. I checked all of them with a multimeter. All were missing an adhesive seal on the positive side. Every CR2032 sold in the US has one. It is a black circle with a red fill and a line through it, indicating a choking hazard. You must clean it before the battery can be used. Once you open the tile, there's nothing to hold the battery in place and you have to be careful that it doesn't move when you snap the tile into place. I tested each tile with a fresh, locally purchased battery. The tiles are numbered on the front. There's a small, pin-sized cutout for a red light that lights up when activated. It's tiny and hard to see unless you know where to look. On the back of the tile is another small, slightly larger hole that is the speaker port. When played on a face up tile, I couldn't hear the speaker unless there was dead silence and I was about a foot from the tile. The sound of the speakers depends on each tile. Most of them are very weak and one is exceptionally weak. They are all essentially useless as a visual and audio tile finder. One tile was louder than the others, not louder, just louder. CONCLUSION: NOT recommended. Useless garbage. Save money and buy something else.
