My daughter is 8 years old and after a growth spurt she now wears a size 10 girls dress. I ordered a size 8-10 in this skirt and it is a bit big on her waist and her hips. The light pink color is a little see-through, so it needs shorts or overalls underneath. She loves the length... long skirts are hard to find for girls her age... and she says they're soft and comfortable. I washed it on gentle cycle and hung it to dry and it was fine.
