Overall I like them, they look good where I put them and with the wall anchors they seem strong enough to hold a decent weight keep. Installation was easy enough if you've installed shelving before, nothing fancy or complicated about it. The kit includes 2 anchors and 2 long screws to hang each shelf, which is enough if you do it right. You don't have to use 4 anchors for each shelf unless you're putting very heavy stuff on them, in which case I suggest you look elsewhere. Also, there are pre-drilled holes to attach the bracket to the wood, but I didn't use those because I wanted some more wood to show on the other side of the bracket, but it was still easy to do by hand. without pre-drilled holes. Also, I would definitely say that someone needs to help hold the shelves when marking where to drill holes in the wall. It's real wood and the color is nice, don't know why some have complained about the type of wood, it's normal for me, although one of my shelves had a few scuffs on one side which weren't very noticeable and I just did it to a side that nobody will see when you hang it. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the mounts weren't packaged properly with any padding or covers so they arrived with noticeable scuffs on the corners where the paint had chipped/rubbed off due to clinking during shipping. I posted some photos of it. It wasn't the end of the world for me because I was able to cover up the scuffs with some sort of black marker, which did the job well enough, but it's obviously not perfect when you look closely. I put my shelves in a darker spot by the back door, so I'm fine with that because probably no one will notice, but if you need them to display things in a prominent place in your home, they might not be the ones best.
