Review on 🧳 Gonex Compression Packing Organizers: The Ultimate Laundry Travel Accessories by Mark Grady

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for compressed packaging (when you know it's not a sealed plastic bag)

A great way to organize and trim down a pile of clothes. BUT you have to understand what it is and what it is not. Use them properly, know they're not as dense as plastic bags, and you'll probably decide this is the best way to travel. Gonex Packing Cubes are NOT plastic bags with holes on one side that you squeeze, roll up or (gently) lay down until almost all of the air has escaped. And since they're not plastic, they won't let you down if you find a hole in the plastic, even in a remote hotel. They are not. Gonex Cubes are a set of 5 packing cubes that you may already have. There is a zipper at the top for stuff. PLUS there is a second bottom spreader zipper (pleat zipper) like suitcases that expands 1-2 inches. Proceed as follows: * Unzip the zip and the packing cube will approximately double in height. * Stuff as many as possible. Too little and you won't compress enough. Too much and the zip won't work.* Close the top zip.* Start zipping the bottom. Lean on or press on the pouch to compress clothing. You may have to slide your finger between the zipper and excess nylon webbing that wants to catch on the zipper, especially at the twists. After half a dozen trips, I learned how to darn my clothes and zip each pocket. . I found the two medium sizes the most useful. The largest of them hardly fits in hand luggage. Conclusion: Everything works well except for the annoyance with the zipper. It squeezes almost as tightly as a piece of plastic bag without the ability to back away from a sharp object. They pack so tightly that when you travel by air you don't worry about missing clothes in your suitcase, but rather because the suitcase is too heavy to be checked in without paying for a heavy bag. The Gonex Compression Packing Cubes are one of the best travel accessories I have ever had. seen.[Yes, I bought the product. No handouts.]
