Great, cheap, everyday leash. Materials are definitely of lower quality than a $20 padded leash I got, but the build still seemed very sturdy. It's not as nicely padded and the trigger clip wasn't quite as smooth-opening as the expensive leash - but I think for most small to medium, average-behaved dogs on daily walks, this should do the job quite well for a very low cost. Stitching is very reflective. The webbing is similar to the material backpack straps are made of, as opposed to my "expensive" leash which has a smoother and more "spongy" texture, similar to the Halti leash.Full disclosure though - while I was very happy with this leash, I eventually returned it. But only because after using this for several weeks, I realized I needed a multi-functional leash, not a basic one. I wanted to return the padded leash but was outside the return window on that one, and didn't need three leashes.
