So happy! I'm not sure about some of the negative reviews but everything works great - it really isn't rocket science figuring out how to put batteries in. Just look at how the cover inserts and you'll understand which way the batteries are supposed to go. They include 2 remote controls and an extra battery cover. All of these candles require you to purchase 18 AA batteries. The remote I used works great, sometimes they don't all light up, but pressing the button again doesn't make much of a difference. There is a small clear tab on the remote battery cover that needs to be removed. The wax coating makes them look more realistic - they are thinner than I thought but the seller's description is correct. The light is also a bit more realistic (yellow) when dimmed when the light looks a bit orange at most. Very happy with this purchase!
