This is the best I've found to protect our sofa and love seat. I usually sit on a double sofa and my husband on the sofa. The dog spends time on both pieces of furniture. They stay perfectly in place without the use of attached straps. If a neighbor rings the doorbell, I can pick it up and throw it in the closet. The pillow keeps it off the back of the sofa. The middle one fits half of a double seat or a regular sized chair. The large fits in two sections of our sofa or is perfect for the entire loveseat. The places where we sit are open, and we put a cushion there so that the dog does not climb when we are not there. I haven't washed them yet, but I've read that they wash with no problem. The material is similar to suede. It's durable and should last a long time. Best of all, our Ziggy finds them very comfortable. He's sleeping on the big one as I type this!
