First of all, I'm in my 60's and I've obviously been using razors for a LONG time. I've tried at least a dozen over the years, regular and disposable. ADVANTAGES: FIRST, it just slipped. It slid so smoothly and without resistance I thought it wouldn't do anything like there wasn't a blade. Second, while it was gliding, it also gave my legs a VERY SMOOTH and SMOOTH shave BUT ALSO moisturizing. !I usually just put some baby soap (no oil, just delicate baby soap) on my legs when I shower and shave. Sometimes I use an exfoliating sponge, but not this time. I WAS SURPRISED by the great shave and a disposable razor! THIRD - I LOVE the pen. GREAT hold and that's important when you have wet and soapy hands in the shower. Got it on sale but would buy it again! At the price of replacement cartridges these days, there isn't much to save if you are NOT buying disposables. THIS was the BEST razor I have ever used and considering the decades I have been using razors that says a lot.
