Review on 🧴 Irish Spring Moisturizing Men's Body Wash Shower Gel- Moisture Blast (2 Pack) - 18 Fluid Ounce: Hydrating Formula for Refreshed Skin by Theresa Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Dishwashing liquid is probably better

I think it's pretty hard to spoil shower gel. But the cover is the big killer here. It pours way too much body wash unless you're incredibly careful and thinking in the shower. What if you're like me, I shower most of my showers a week after waking up and don't even think about the game. A bottle of Irish Spring is twice the size of the others. All other shower gels are basically the same size. Now Colgate-Palmolive, which owns the Irish Spring brand and generates billions in revenue, has no way of knowing exactly what they are. There is tons of research and development going on in these things. And they came up with this tricky idea to help you run out of body wash faster. It was well thought out, I'm sure of it. The problem is that the only thing they have is price, that is, cheapness. And it's out the door if you always over pour due to the bottle design. Otherwise, it's a pretty strong and cheap scent. Reminds me how it can smell sitting in the garden while Conner McGregor punches and breaks all the flowers. It's like the blue metallic goo that would come out of a shot alien in a movie. Tempting! But perhaps the best thing about the bottle (if you can read it) is the ridiculous product description on the back, which could have been written by J. Peterman himself in an elevator. "Imagine being moisturized by a roaring waterfall... Such is Irish Spring Moisture Blast body wash. Just fresh ”(!) Let's find out a little. First, when I drink water, I'm probably drinking water from a waterfall. You know, for rehydration. But it can be difficult to get said water as it is a raging waterfall so I have to be careful. Also, I'm pretty sure that when I picture myself in a waterfall shower, I get that experience from the shower head and the water, not the soap. Also, I don't want him to rage because it sounds like it's painful and dangerous. So no Irish Spring, it's not at all. And no, the chemicals in your product don't make me feel "fresh" either. Just not with sodium chloride. Since when does salt help hydrate or feel "fresh"? It does the opposite! So I have what I call a "cheesesteak test" and for most it's a Philadelphia cheesesteak. A good Philadelphia cheesesteak requires 3 things: meat, properly sliced ribeye with cheese sauce, and a very good quality amoroso bun or equivalent. Seems easy right? It is not. People make mistakes all the time, especially the cast. And you just won't have a real Philadelphia steak unless you guess these 3 right. In the case of Irish Spring, the main factor why I give them a low rating is the "reel" or packaging. It just doesn't work for me. This is a conscious design to avoid wasting your laundry. So 1* out of 5*. It's not working again. I would suggest this is better than washing with dish soap.
