If you want to protect your (new and shiny) Apple MacBook Air 2020, read on. Pros: 1) Packaging: Not normally "professional" but I would like to highlight the packaging of this product as it is very important that these hard shell skins remain free of dust, tears and stains during transit. FinTie did a phenomenal job with the packaging. The two piece hard cap is both vacuum packed and in a clear plastic wrap. 2) Construction and Durability: After removing the cases, I was 100% confident that the two-piece hard case would stand the test of time. lasts forever, despite the low weight. The polycarbonate plastic doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all, but speaks volumes of quality in every way. 3) Fit and Protection: This is the most important aspect of this product because that's why you buy it. Rest assured, the top and bottom covers snap together easily and feature ribs to dissipate the heat generated by this MacBook Air under heavy use. The MacBook opens fully (the last 20 degrees gets a bit more difficult, but that's okay - as long as your cases fit perfectly, it won't do any harm). The fit itself is great, and while I'm not wealthy enough to do a proper drop test, it will certainly prevent your MacBook's surface/edges from being dented if you accidentally drop it and will absorb the impact. However, if you drop your MacBook Pro so that its hinges are stressed, this cover may not protect those hinges, but it's still better to have this protection than not. Cons: 1) Just a quick fix that was left out in the instructions: THE TOP HAS TWO "LIPS" AND THEY GO TO THE EDGE WHERE THE CAMERA IS. NOT NEAR THE HINGES EDGES. The instructions don't say this so make sure you put it on properly.
