My 5yo wakes/sits up in the middle of the night, then goes back to sleep most nights. I got this to hopefully help her stay asleep. She instantly loved this cute soft weighted blanket, fell asleep in mins, and stayed asleep all night day 1. So far so good!It says hand wash + air dry but I don't have that kind of time or space for that. Read online that most weighted blanket fillers are ok to be dried on Low setting. So I machine washed on delicate / hand wash setting and dried on low. Seems to be fine so far. *fingers crossed*The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because the blankets binding trim / edge wasn't sewn well in 2 places and came undone. But I was willing and able to use my sewing machine to sew it back together myself, easy fix. Other than that, the bulk of the blanket seems pretty well made (I'll update review if this changes).Color background (owl) is a light beige. Back side color is a pastel yellow.
