I wish I could love them but the durability is terrible. As you can see from the photo, the stitching connecting the zipper to the rest of the bag came undone after the second use. I've used it to marinate chicken both times. It worked great before it broke. I haven't had any leaking issues and the material is thick enough that I could pop it straight into the fridge without a plate and not worry about it sweating too much. But if I have to throw the bag away after every other use, then it's no more sustainable or cheaper than regular plastic bags, if not worse, because I'm sure it takes more material to manufacture than multiple plastic bags. When you use to put things, it's very difficult to clean all the small crevices and under the zipper flap. And even after washing your hands thoroughly, there is still a slight smell of marinade. They seem to work best for storing kibble so you don't have to clean them as thoroughly, but I usually just use Tupperware for that. It's almost impossible to close most of them without serious effort.
