It was an ugly color but I decided it didn't matter. And it's not. It is important that the gel is not particularly pleasant and disintegrates after a very short period of use and leaks out to the side. The underside was also crumpled on arrival as if poorly constructed too, but I could bear the occasional wrinkle noise. I've had gel mouse pads leaking before, but it usually lasted a few years, not just over a month. I would not trust this manufacturer anymore.
