Comfortable flexible rubber material. Most other watch straps of this type that I have had are made of much harder plastic and are therefore less comfortable. I buy this kind for the durability and also because it doesn't absorb sweat and grease which irritate the eyes and start smelling. So comfort has always been secondary to me. It's nice to get something that has both. Because this material is less stiff and apparently less brittle, it can actually last longer before cracking, as it always does eventually. The time will show.
